FEA 103 - Ansys Sherlock Introduction Training
Beginner Level Training - 1 day (8 hours)
About Ansys Sherlock Introduction Training by CADIT
Training in physics-based electronic reliability prediction with Ansys Sherlock. Covers PCB and component modelling, mission profiles, and failure mechanisms such as solder fatigue and thermal cycling for Design-for-Reliability workflows.
Perfect for Electronics engineers responsible for hardware reliability.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
1. Set up Signal Integrity (SI) analyses in Ansys SIwave, including impedance scan, S/Y/Z- parameter extraction, and Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR) simulations.
2. Set up Power Integrity (PI) analyses, such as S/Y/Z, RLGC extraction, and decoupling capacitor optimization.
3. Configure various circuit components including resistors (R), inductors (L), capacitors (C), ports, and terminations.
4. Assign and manage SPICE models and S-parameter models for simulation of complex components.
