Learning Outcomes

By the end of this training, you will be able to:
1. Set up 2D and 3D simulations in Ansys Maxwell, including boundary conditions, excitations, mesh settings, and output parameters (e.g., force, inductance, matrices).
2. Differentiate between static solvers: AC/DC Conduction, AC Magnetic, Magnetostatic, Magnetic Transient, and Electrostatic.
3. Use Magnetic/Electric Transient solvers with motion, custom excitations, and loss models.
4. Perform parametric sweeps for design variation and optimization.
5. Generate and interpret simulation results using 2D plots and field visualizations on geometry.
