Learning Outcomes


By the end of this training, you will be able to:
1. Configure EMI scanner in SIwave, and how to evaluate the violations.
2. Utilize SIwave EM-based capabilities, including Resonant Mode, Induced Voltage, Near Field, and Far Field to investigate and explore the EMI Scanner violations.
3. Do automatic physical extraction and system compliance verification for memory interface design.
4. Run detailed and accurate system simulation to explore pre- and post- layout verification for optimal memory interface design.
5. Setup the PSI solver to get the best results out of the power integrity analysis of packages and PCBs.
6. Extract the RLCG models of IC packages and PCBs using SIwave-CPA.
7. Simulate the transient noise with dynamically linked SIwave package with CPM model in Circuit Simulator.
8. Set up HFSS and SIwave EM blocks in circuit schematics and drive with transient signals.
9. Set up workflows with a combination of products, like SIwave, HFSS 3D Layout, HFSS fully arbitrary 3D (FA3D), and AEDT Circuit.
10. Set up PCB (printed circuit board) field simulations directly from the PCB or indirectly from the near fields generated by the PCB.
11. Generate frequency field reports of voltage measured at antennas, with both simulated antenna hardware and with simple sensing objects.
12. Import CISPR 2008 standard templates to overlay on plots.
13. Know how PCB field behaviors can be simulated with CISPR chamber rooms that include EM absorbers.
