FEA 208 - Ansys AQWA Ocean Loading & Hydrodynamic Mapping Training
Advanced Level Training - 2 days (16 hours)
About Ansys AQWA Ocean Loading & Hydrodynamic Mapping Training by CADIT
Set up hydrodynamic models with the Ansys AQWA solver in Workbench: diffraction, static and dynamic motion analysis, cables, articulations and fenders, multi-body interaction, and hydrodynamic load mapping to Ansys Mechanical for marine and offshore structures.
Perfect for Marine and offshore structural engineers.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this training, you will be able to:
1. Set up an Ansys AQWA workflow within the Ansys Workbench platform.
2. Define environmental conditions in the AQWA Editor, including waves, currents, and wind.
3. Understand the fundamentals of hydrodynamic response.
4. Perform diffraction, static, and dynamic motion analyses, including forward speed effects.
5. Define and model cables, articulations, and fenders.
6. Analyze multi-body systems with hydrodynamic interaction.
7. Understand and apply the hydrodynamic load mapping workflow.
