Ansys Aqwa - Enterprise Hydrodynamic Analysis Software
Ansys Aqwa is hydrodynamic analysis software for offshore and marine structures. It evaluates how floating and fixed structures respond to waves, wind and current, covering stability, motion response, mooring loads and the forces that structural design depends on.
Typical structures include FPSOs, spars, semi-submersibles, platforms and vessels.

- Moonpool analysis: Aqwa Librium and Aqwa Fer now estimate moonpool fluid coupling with hull motions.
- Watch Zones: track point trajectories through defined zones in stability and time-response analyses, with overshoot statistics.
- MCOL hydrodynamic database output: export a .mco file for LS-DYNA MCOL ship grounding and collision simulation.
