Ansys Gateway powered by AWS - Cloud Simulation Platform

Ansys Gateway powered by AWS is a cloud platform for running Ansys applications on Amazon Web Services. Engineers subscribe, configure and run Ansys software in their own AWS environment, with interactive remote desktops for pre- and post-processing and HPC clusters for large solves.

It removes the hardware ceiling on simulation without requiring a team to build and manage its own cloud architecture.

Ansys Gateway powered by AWS 2025 R2

• Current application releases: Ansys 2025 R2 and 2025 R1 applications are available; when 2026 R1 is added, 2025 R1 is retired under the two-release support policy.
• Autoscaling clusters: Ansys HPC Platform Services support autoscaling cluster workflows for Electronics Desktop, Fluent (beta), Mechanical and Workbench LS-DYNA.

Remote Desktops and HPC Clusters

Pre-configured Ansys environments deploy as virtual desktops for interactive work and as compute clusters that scale CPU and GPU resources for large models and design studies.

Your Account, Your Data

Workloads run in your own AWS account, so data residency, access and encryption remain under your control, and cloud costs can be tracked and capped.

Using Your Existing Licences

Existing Ansys licences can be used on Gateway, so cloud capacity extends on-premise investment rather than replacing it.
